HUGE THANKYOU TO ALL “KAKAMANIAN” READERS

Today I decided to check the stats on my blog and find out how many views it has had  since I reengaged with it in May last year.
This is my audience , and the amount of hits in past 10 months:

United Kingdom
  573

South Africa
229

Netherlands
160

United States
62

Finland
4

France
1

Croatia
1

An amazing total 1030 hits [mine are not included]. I can’t help but feel delighted that the blog continues to interest and thank everyone who reguarly pops in.
I have to be perfectly honest and admit that I think, Finland France and Croatia must have been accidental, as I know of no one who might want to access the Kakamanian in these countries. My thanks nevertheless.
I cannot tell from the stats who views the blog, only the numbers of hits from each country and the above tally is by no means the latest inter country competition, its just rather fascinating.

I would love to receive more feedback from people who continue to read. Since dear Pam passed on, Gerry my dear American friend is the only one who regularly post comments, and I leave these up by way of a encouragement to others who may be tempted..please feel free to do so.

While typing I have been giving some thought to what my readership  might collectively be called:
Kakophiles, Kakomanyites, Kakotrophes ,Kakostrophers, Kakists.......clearly too much time on my hands!

No suitable picture to end with, but a topical one from fist thing this morning. I went to put my gardening boots on as it was cool enough to start some much needed weeding in the garden....

                                                     *******NOTE TO SELF ******
DO CHECK THE CONTENT OF YOUR BOOTS BEFORE PUTTING THEM ON.
......It was a deeply unpleasant feeling.........for both of us!

Hello my dear Dawn! Interesting stats on your hits! I was surprised to see how many were accessing from the US. Obviously, not your biggest group; but that is as it should be.
That poor toad and your poor toes! Both of you had better things to do. I'll bet he thought he had found a great new house to live in. Did you think it was a slang? That would be pretty scary.
Another thing you've learned to live with or without . . . a toad!
Take very good care of yourself, cutie! Love, Gerry

Hi Gerry, I know of two visitors to the blog in the States [including you]..perhaps there are more.

On the "boot issue" it never crossed my mind that it might be a SLANG..something told me it may be a frog..might have had something to do with the gutteral and very loud C...R..O..A..K that emitted from the boot as I placed my stockinged foot [thank the lord!] inside it. My tummy churned... even though I knew it was a frog/toad. I will not be leaving my gardening boots outside again in a hurry.XX
