I love irises! They are the poor man's orchid I think.

I recognized the strawberry leaves immediately. I hope you get some berries from those famous plants! I don't understand why Wimbledon has strawberries, though. I thought they had tennis.

Rocket may be getting a wrong world view of dogs not getting her, Next time she gets out, it may be a disaster; she thinking the dogs will stop inches away even with no cage protecting her.

I can tell you are all getting quite attached to her.

I have several berries and they are already ripening..Both Bongs and Bee seem peculiarly interested in the pot!! In England Bee used to raid my fig tree, she even liked the bark and used to bite the branches off and strip and chew the bark.Yes Wimbledon is known for its tennis but also for its fantastic strawberries and cream, that are a MUST to feast on if you visit.
I think that you are right about Rocket but she is a fiestmaiden, if they get too close to her cage she growls at them and twitches her tail with great irritation. She does seem to regard herself as beyond their clutches and stands up high on her hind legs, just staring at them quite a lot. She is a funny little creature and yes, we are still in two minds to know what to do with her now that she is fully recovered from her ordeal.
