First and foremost, my sincere apologies for the dearth if commentary from SA, over the festive season. No real excuses, save to say we have been quite busy. Nevertheless very warm greetings to all.Huge thanks for the Christmas and birthday cards and the messages of goodwill. All received with our great delight and not a little guilt from me as I failed to meet the 1st Dec deadline for posting Christmas cards..which are not traditionally sent here in the Northern Cape..the lack of suitable cardage is of no excuse because I feel as though I could have made some..by the time next year arrives I will have got into the swing of things ..PERHAPS!
The photos that I have been studiously preparing for my blog are now log jammed. So I will upload as many as poss with brief explanations.
Christmas day at the farm..Christmas kisses
Our first harvest of our own table grapes..The cutting started at 3.00 a.m and carried on until 10.00 a.m for three consequtive mornings. The remaining vineyard will be harvested this week and Bossy will make big golden raisins from them.
